Meet compliance and make your workplace safer

Our training will make your business operation a safer working environment whilst meeting compliance requirements. Training will assist in operator awareness, aiming to reduce accidents, material damage, and increase productivity by improving operator competency.

Our assessment courses cover all Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs).  Training and assessment is conducted by Skills registered assessors, Adam Thompson & Phil Scoble. MAC provides the venue, machines to train on, tea, coffee and lunch for groups of 6-8 people.

Locally-based assessments to fit ITO and HIANZ requirements around your work schedule

Courses can be arranged on MAC’s sites in Wellington and Auckland and can be tailored to your business schedule and timing. We can also train operators with varying degrees of experience to improve their performance/competency (one-on-one tuition).

All the skills needed for safe and efficient operation

Site analysis, correct machine selection, pre-operation checks, Log book requirements, competent operation, machine safety features, emergency procedures and other relevant information. Trainees who complete the MAC assessment are competent and confident operators.

The EWP Silvercard course was re-developed to meet the requirements of the Best Practice Guidelines for Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (Released August 2014).  Industry specific content has also been added to enhance the training and level of guidance given to trainees. See more on HIANZ's website here. “Our assessors are approved by The Skills Organisation who manage the reporting of a participants completed Unit Standards to NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority). 
Participants are also enrolled with Skills Org.”
